My name is Ben David, and Stratus was born from a personal connection to the adult family home industry. I grew up in a home where caregiving wasn’t just a job—it was a way of life. My mom has been a dedicated adult family home provider in the greater Seattle area for over 30 years, and I spent my childhood surrounded by the rhythms of her work: the compassion, the long hours, and the deep trust built between providers, residents, and their families.

That experience gave me something many designers don’t have—firsthand insight into what providers truly need from their websites. I understand the importance of clear information, warm and welcoming visuals, and easy navigation for families making one of the most important decisions of their lives.
